Some liquid spilt on my computer.

Now it charges and turns on...just with no screen or start up stuff.

Anyone know of a good and resonanably priced computer repair shop?

Thanks..

If it charges then it sounds like a laptop?.Is it under warranty? Which part of town do you live in?

Make sure its COMPLETELY dry V, dont leave it outside to "dry off" with the humidity at this time of year it wont happen! put it in front of the AC overnight, prop it up like an open book, hinge up, take out the battery and CD / Hard disk / memory if you can.

If you have a screwdriver, remove all the panels you can see on the back, just leave the panels off, no need to remove everything inside, then after a good 8 hours under AC power it up again, if the screen is still black the screen modulator couldve gone and thats not cheap, but one step at a time.

PS: Sorry I dont know of any PC repair shops here, always do my own ;)
