Does anyone know of a cleaner that can could clean my place twice a month in the konyaalti area that doesnt charge a fortune? All the cleaners Ive found are asking a higher hourly rate than either I or my wife earn!

Im either in the wrong industry or speaking to the wrong people, how can you get a builder to build a house for 20 lira a day but a cleaner wont get out of bed for less than 50 lira for a few hours work!

I couldnt find one because of same reason. I see general rate for cleaners is like 60-70 TL per a day

NOT MY DAY :(

It seems a common theme in Turkey that if you cant get enough work (or sell enough products) put the price UP!

You can see the same "technique" in services, real estate, restaurants (and then they complain no-one comes out the all inclusives, well duh!). Good job the inflation figures dont use these industries to base the figures on.

When will they realise that approach is a fast track to bankruptcy? Surely when you really need to you CUT your profit margin to keep cash flow, yet another thing about Turkey Ill never understand!

Same with the rental flats dear,

everybody knows that since months Im seeking for a rental flat and now am nearly an expert :) Freaky landlords keep prices high and let the flats empty "months long"...instead to reduce the price and start to earn.... hard to understand! anybody heard about liquidity?
