With the town of Silvan in its 13th day under curfew and residents walking out of town with meagre belongings to stay with friends and family elsewhere (sound familiar, like how the Syrian crisis started?) there seems to be zero attempts at diplomacy or reconciliation after the AKP election landslide victory, quite the opposite, I fear dark days coming for "New Turkey".

Silvan locals return to a town in ruins as 12-day curfew ends

I would call it a siege rather than a curfew but what semantics when your media company could be stolen for using the wrong phrase?
