One of the most photographed icons of the park is the Roman era Oluklu Bridge over a tributary of the river which was considered an engineering marvel at the time of its construction.
Most people come to the park for its white water rafting with many companies to choose from it can get very busy in the height of tourist season and accidents have happened in the past but safety is getting better every year.
As well as the water sports there are many other reasons to come for a day to the canyon, with fish restaurants selling fresh trout along the banks of the river, beautiful scenery, even the drive up through the mountains is stunning.
Just some of the activities include:-
- White water rafting
- Canoeing / Kayaking
- Swimming
- Camping
- Trekking
A great way to spend a hot summers day cooling off in the shade and waters of this lovely park.
